After a successful career including 19 years as a Principal operating a national general contracting company, Jerry began Patten & Associates, LLC to provide not for profit entities with professional project management and owner’s representative services. We have been in business since 2005 and have managed the design and construction of numerous worship, education, office and their related site improvements as well as church youth camp facilities. Our list of satisfied clients includes: Christ’s Church of the Valley, Peoria, AZ; First Christian Church, Phoenix, AZ and United Christian Youth Camp in Prescott, AZ. These projects included remodels to existing facilities, Tenant Improvements in existing shell building spaces; as well as expansions and ground up builds.
We have also been at the forefront of delivering multi site campuses. To date we have launched 12 satellite campuses. The multi sites have included renovations of existing campuses, TI’s of existing shell buildings, additions to existing buildings and site work to provide: utilities infrastructure, drainage improvements, additional parking and lighted sports fields.
The focus of our company is to help clients go through the construction process by being the advocate for the owner and keeping the integrity of the vision and goals of the project intact. We typically start with our clients when an idea and vision are created then we lead the team in the process of design completion, selecting the AVL contractors, providing general contractor services, securing accurate estimates, submitting the documents to the city, securing the needed permits, while managing to the schedule and the budget. Even though that is our typical process we excel at being able to be integrated into the project at any stage.
Over the last 19 years with our unique process we have been able to save our clients more money then what our fee is on every job we have been involved with, typically several times our cost. We don’t cut the costs by leaving things out or by putting them in another phase. We save the costs by providing input in the construction design that is more economical, leveraging our relationships throughout the bidding and buyout stage and leading the team through an accelerated delivery schedule while coordinating the AVL equipment systems and furnishings installation.
